A FAMILIAR WORKFLOW

From your first scene to a PS1 build.

Arrange your world visually, add behaviour with components and Lua, then export a game for the original PlayStation.

Create visually

Scenes, components, geometry, and UI in one editor.

Write gameplay in Lua

A lightweight scripting workflow for your own game logic.

Export native PS1 games

Build disc images for a separately configured emulator or compatible homebrew setup.

01 / CREATE YOUR WORLD

Build your levels in the editor.

Start with a blockout and shape it into a playable space. Keep geometry, materials, and scene objects together in a dockable workspace.

  • Create and edit geometry with Level Builder.
  • Adjust textures with UV Editor and import your assets.
  • Organize GameObjects and assign components in the Inspector.

02 / BRING IT TO LIFE

Your game logic. Your interface.

Write Lua behaviours, connect them to your scene, and build the interface your game needs. Try changes in Play Mode as you work.

  • Script input, interactions, and scene changes with Lua.
  • Arrange panels, text, images, and buttons in UI Canvas.
  • Add audio and save data to complete the experience.

03 / BUILD FOR PLAYSTATION

Work with the hardware in mind.

Make decisions with the original console’s limits in view. Inspect resource usage while you build, then test the exported game.

  • Review content budgets with PS1 Budget.
  • Inspect textures, palettes, and framebuffers in VRAM Inspector.
  • Export BIN/CUE or ISO images with NTSC and PAL options.

Emulators and BIOS files are not included. Test exported builds on your intended setup; resource checks do not guarantee hardware compatibility.

LEARN BY MAKING A GAME

Start with a project you can follow.

Follow Two-Room Relay from an empty project to an exported game, or explore the included examples to see how the pieces fit together. Documentation is available in English and Spanish.
